LA Zoo Trip

 

From Grandma: 
We had a good time at the zoo. We ended up at the LA Zoo. A nice person let us go in with her with her pass. The weather was beautiful and it wasn't crowded at the zoo. 

 

We saw monkeys, chimps, flamingos, lots of deer type creatures, gorillas, giraffes, jaguar, sea lions, seals, alligators, wallaby and others. Genevieve would look at an animal for a while and say, "More animals." That was our signal to move on to the next one. She kept asking for the map and would study it and point out where we should go. I always agreed with her. She got to ride the carousel twice--once on a chimp and another time on a type of deer. For lunch we had Puffins, fruit snacks, juice and ice cream. She was very good and didn't have any complaints today. She fell asleep soon after we left the zoo and we took her straight home to Daddy.

Genevieve also took this picture of the goat. She told the goat to smile.The gorilla is leaning on the glass. I got her to lean on the glass and be a gorilla.
