Grandpa's department put together a retirement party for him. Everyone was so nice and they put together a nice party for him! Everyone loved meeting you and you liked playing with the other little baby that was about your age. The food was really good and we left stuffed!
After the party we came home and got ready to go to a play at Cal Poly. We saw Oedipus El Rey, and it was very good! Great Grandma and Nita watched you. They had a great time watching you and entertained them with your crawling, pushing the laundry basket and other tricks.
I wonder if they all presented a speech for your Grandpa for what he had done for the whole department? True, Genevieve's growing up so fast, she gets to get along with other babies with ease. I'm sure she'll be surprised when she manages to read this part of her life someday.
