Nicolas is back!

Dinner with Great Grandaddy

Tonight we had dinner with Great Grandaddy Fortune at his favorite place, Elephant Bar. It was a full house tonight with Nana, Papa, Christi, Daddy, Mommy, you and Great Grandaddy. You were a little all over the place until the food came but you settled in once you sat down next to Papa.

What is it?

What is it about sleeping babies that are so cute? The way they curl up, there little lips, there soft breathing or way they startle themselves in there sleep? Is it there warmth, or that no matter how big the bed is you always find a spot right next to me?

1st day of Preschool

Today was your first day of preschool! You really are officially not a baby anymore now. Mommy and Daddy both saw you off on your first day. You weren't afraid or scared of being in a new place. we said bye and you gave us a kiss and went back to your play dough. How did we end up with such a independent little girl? You had a good first day and look forward to coming back again on Thursday.

Sky High Sports

With you loving the indoor trampoline place as much as you did for the Maynard's party we decided to take you to Sky High Sports in Ontario for some fun. Your favorite was swinging on the rope and landing in the foam pit. You would crawl out and do it again again. We also jumped on the big court, you jumped on the kids court and we played a little dodger ball with Daddy. What a fun afternoon!

Peterson's Automotive Museum

Today we went with Mr. Winslow to the Peterson's Automotive Museum in LA. The first couple floors were not that exciting for you. You couldn't touch anything and really just wanted to ride the elevator up and down. Once we got to the top floor though you were very happy. It was all just for kids! You could touch, ride and play with everything there.

Huntington Gardens

We made our trip to the Huntington Gardens today with Mommy's friend Jeanine. They had an amazing children's garden that you could have spent all day at. Next time we know to bring you a bathing suit so you can fully immerse yourself in the fountain. It was hot though, so you even though you were wet you dried off quick as we walked through all of there different gardens. I was there to see the Father Serra exhibit and it did not disappoint. Because you were a good girl we ended up back at the Children's Garden for some more fun before we headed home.
