Today was my first Friday off since we started the 4/10 schedule at work. It was so nice to sleep in and relax! In the morning Lori came over and scrapbooked and in the afternoon we went over to Grandma Terri's school to her retirement party. The teachers there put together a nice party in one of the classrooms to celebrate Grandmas teaching career. Afterwards we went to her classroom and got ot look through some of the books to add to your library here at home. Mommy had to go down to Orange County so Grandma brought you back home to Daddy. Grandma is looking forward to watching you this summer and next year now that she is no longer going to be teaching!
It was great to be able to show you off in person to all my friends at work. You seemed very worried about my funny "Happy Retirement" hat. You kept looking up at it and down at my face, up at the hat, down at my face. After about tens of checking it out you decided it was ok.
