Picture Day at Dance Class

Today was picture day at Dance Class. Grandma took you and got you all dressed up pretty for the photos. Tomorrow is your big dance recital, I hope you do well and don't get scared on stage.

Show and "skirt"

You are very creative Genevieve! You are wearing your minnie mouse ears Christie got for you as your skirt when you do your performances for us (and yes, I have been recording them!). You are one singing, dancing and creative little girl.

Disneyland with Christi

Today Christi took you to Disneyland. She even bought you a set of matching Minnie Mouse ears! You had a lot of fun in California Adventure and Disneyland. Christi is looking forward to taking you back again soon!

Chocolate shake

Daddy made chocolate shakes tonight, and for a little girl who loves chocolate you didn't even finish it! Maybe it was too thick or something but I would have thought for sure it would have been one of your new favorite foods. You are always full of surprises Genevieve...

Blog Updating

Sadly in order to update your blog I had to sit you in front of the glow of your iPad to watch TV. Genevieve, you have lots of dedicated readers out there that needed their Genevieve fix and you have not given Mommy a break in order to update it in a while. You were happy watching episodes of Curoies George on Netflix and I was able to get almost the whole month of April caught up.

Morongo Swiming

Morongo has one of the best pools ever! I got you a water floatation device for you to wear in the pool and once you got the hang of it you loved it. You can float on your back, on your front and go into deeper water. Plus there is a cool frog on the front! George met us at Morongo to hang out by the pool for a bit and were on the road by 12:30. Home but not for long because we met Julia and Alex at Victoria Gardens for a bubble party! Some how we even managed to get a free ride on the Cinderella carriage. It was a fun day.

Here there and everywhere!

It was another warm day and braved the heat to go to the Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens with Maria and the two boys. The butterfly pavillion was neat and you enjoyed walking on all the pathways. You enjoyed playing in the fountain as well, you were trying to convince me that the reflecting pond was a pool but I wasn't buying it. Next up lunch at Costco and then we went to a park of Benito where they were having a family fun day. You enjoyed playing on the splash pad and after some drama of going on then not wanting to go on the jumper, we ended up on the swings. You seemed to like that well enough. Next up, home to pick up Daddy and head out to Morongo for a fun weekend!
