When a Spoon Just Won't Do

Sometimes a spoon for you just won't do. You need to get to the bottom of your yogurt and the spoon is just to slow. You scoop the yogurt out with your fingers and make a big mess all over your face and hands. That is what bibs are made for! Lucky for you Grandma made you a big collection of washcloth bibs that keep you nice and clean.

Chino Youth Museum

On a rainy and chilly Sunday I thought it would be fun to go check out the Chino Youth Museum with Genevieve. I heard good things but never had been there before, what a fun place! For $5 we both got in, they had several rooms to play in, a bank, a science center, a newsroom, a house, a farm area, rescue professions and a stage. There was a birthday party happening when we were there so it was a little crazy at first, lots of kids. You run yourself into the ground walking, running and going back and forth. Your favorite thing to do was to open and close the doors to each of the rooms. You made friends with a few of the little kids there, following them around and playing the best you could with them. We will have to go back another day. Just as we were coming home Nancy came by with the new stroller she bought for you all of you little ones to ride in. You enjoyed its maiden voyage to the corner and back!

Amy's Farm

 Amy's Farm is located in Ontario, right on the border of Chino and Ontario. They have cows, pigs, horses, goats, chickens, turkeys, bunnies and more! They have a garden and a small little stand where they well their produce. You enjoyed looknig at the animals from a ways back, but still did not like to get to close to the large animals. The chickens you loved though, they were smaller then you, I think that helped! We had a nice family outing to the farm and can't wait to take you back another day to see all of the "dogs" again.

Book Time

You walked over to me in the living room, grabbed my finger and took me back to your room.You picked up a book and said "book?" and handed it to me. How could I say no? You sat in my lap so still, peaceful and quiet while I read you a variety of books. Daddy walked by and saw us and thought it was so sweet he would take a picture of us. I love moments like this together Genevieve.

15 Minutes with you...

Tonight I only got about 15 minutes with you! Twice a year at work we have a big meeting and today was one of those days. I got home about 9 and you were out by 9:15. You were so happy to see me, you pushed open the door, hugged my legs and laughed and did a little dance. I may have only gotten 15 minutes with you but it was a very happy 15 minutes.

In the mail today we got the disk from Richelle from the photos we did last month. As always, they turned out so great! You are such a cutie in all of the photos. I loved the location we shot at in Irvine, so pretty. Looks like it is time for a trip to Costco to order some enlargements for the frames!

Post Halloween Let Down

After such an exciting night last night, it was going to be hard to beat! You walked around the house in my work shoes, carrying your pumpkin bucket and baby monitor as a phone. You are getting so good walking in heels!
