You walked over to me in the living room, grabbed my finger and took me back to your room.You picked up a book and said "book?" and handed it to me. How could I say no? You sat in my lap so still, peaceful and quiet while I read you a variety of books. Daddy walked by and saw us and thought it was so sweet he would take a picture of us. I love moments like this together Genevieve.
I remember when your mommy was little she loved books too. One of her favorites was Hand Hand Finger Thumb. I still have most of it memorized. One time I was trying to get some school work done and asked Grandpa Gino to watch your mommy. She came to the closed door and shoved books under the door and cried "Read to me Mommy." I had to stop what I was doing, of course, and read to her.
