From Grandma Terri today:
At music class today we used scarves to play with and dance. Genevieve
likes to put them on her head and look through the sheer material. You can also
wave them to the slow music that is playing. The teacher gives out various
instruments such as shakers, tambourines, and rhythm sticks. The children now
know that when she goes to the shelves that they are going to get something
and run to her. Genevieve is good about giving the instruments back at the
end.
The teacher plays the guitar and sings as well as using recorded music.
Genevieve likes "Jump down, pick a bale of cotton." She is good at
clapping along with the music. We have one more class next week.
