This morning we headed off to Seattle! It was your first airplane ride and you did great. Mommy, Grandma Terri and you headed from ONT to OAK and you slept the whole way. Once we got to Oakland we had to switch planes and we were back up in the air. This time you didnt sleep but we were able to entertain you and keep you happy the entire flight.
Once we got our luggage, Grandma's cousin Marta came to pick us up from the airport. We went back to her house and had a wondeful lunch with homemade soup and some of the best bread I ever had! After we rested and ate we headed out into Seattle, dispite the rain we had a excellent time! We drove through Fremont and saw some funky and electic pieces of art. We stopped and braved the weather at the locks and fish ladder, no fish this time of year :( We drove through several other great sites including Univeristy of Washington and Gas Works park. I would love to take pictures of you there, next time we are up and the weather is good! We came back to Marta and Randi's house for a yummy dinner and an early night, we were tired from all of our travels.
Genevieve is such a good traveler! She didn't fuss or cry (except when I let her roll into the table leg-Sorry!) She will be a welcome visitor where ever she goes.
