Election Night 2012

Needless to say, it was a good night. Let's recount all of our victories:

- Obama/Biden elected for a second term
- Elizabeth Warren elected for senate.
- Prop 30 passed- funding K-12 and higher education
- Prop 32 denied- tried to silence the power of unions
- Gay marriage passed in 4 states

I can't think of much else we could have hoped for. Proud to say this may be a point in history where we see the tides changing lending itself to equal rights for all, squashing the fear mongers andmoving towards hope and change.

I love it when I wake up in the morning and Americans have rehired a black president, fired a bunch of rape apologists, hired an openly gay senator, legalized gay marriage, and legalized pot. Smell that? That's fresh progress brewing.

Kitchen Helper

You are such a good kitchen helper. As soon as you see Mommy about to make something you pull out the step stool and jump right in to help. Here I am trying to make PB&J sandwiches. With all of your help it only took me twice as long to make it as usual. What a good helper.

Can I carry this on?

I still have my suitcase out from my trip to New Mexico. You enjoy wheeling it around the dining room and zipping it open and closed. I don't think you qualify as a carry on anymore, but you could certainly fit.

Tea at Molly's Souper

Daddy took us out to breakfast this morning  at Molly's Souper. We ordered you an apply juice and it came on a tray with juice, a tea cup and crackers. You loved it! Later that day we met with Laura and baby Lindsay at Victoria Gardens. We had a good time shopping and riding the merry go round.

Play Monsters

Uncle Davey gave you a bag of action heros. You love to grab the bag, dump it all out and play "monsters" with them. I usually have to play to and they have names like panda, turtle, robot, etc. They hug, kiss, play school, and go nite nite. We have a good time playing.

Cat in the Hat

Today at Grandmas house you got dressed up as Cat in the Hat. The Halloween fun just never stops with you! What a cutie pie.

Halloween 2012

After much hype, Halloween is finally here. You loved running up and down the street, looking for houses to trick or treat at. You were so excited every time you got candy in your bucket. We stopped at lots of neighbors houses to say hello. After we were done we stopped by Nana and Papas house for some special treats. We made it back in time to hand out some candy to some last minute trick or treaters.
