Genevieve's Car Wash

Your toys were so dirty from being out in the backyard, Mommy organized a Toy Wash for you tonight. First up was your car. You were really into washing it from top to bottom. After that we cleaned your tricycle, wagon and chair. We also washed down your playhouse in the back. You ended up a mess but the toys were clean.

Surprise!

Today when I got home from work you were hiding from me again! Of course you were giggling and I could see the top of your head, but you didn't know that. You jumped out from behind the chair and yelled surprise at me. Of course, I got my mommy just got home hug as well, I love your hugs Genevieve...

Chuck E Cheese, with Mommy and Daddy

For your birthday gift we took you to Chuck E Cheese. Mostly so we could see what the big deal was, but also because that seems to be all you talk about. I thought I could get by without paying for the rides and just pretending, but you knew and asked for "coins" as soon as you sat down on a ride. We had dinner (pizza, of course) and played for an hour and half. You had a good time, we will take you back when you learn to use the potty!

August, already!??!

As always, summer goes way to fast, I can't believe it is all ready August! We have trying to make good use of time this summer, pool, beach, etc. Another six weeks or so and we will be transitioning into fall, boo!

Happy 2nd Birthday Genevieve!

Today's the day! You are officially 2 now! We couldn't let the day go unmarked, even though you did have your party Sunday, so we had a smaller party at home for you. Daddy had already made plans (Bobblehead give away, Dodgers) so Mommy invited family and Grandma, Grandpa, Nana and Aunt Teresa came over. We had pulled pork for dinner and of course, cake! You enjoyed everyone singing Happy Birthday for you and even blew out your candle. What a big girl!

Last full day of being 1

It was your last full day of being one, I can't believe it! You did you last Fun with One class today and in the evening you asked to go say hello to Miles and Lola. You ended up swimming for a bit and then painting with the new paints/pad that Adam and Judy gave you for your birthday. It was much more enjoyable on my end then being in labor (which I was 2 years ago today!).

Genevieve's 2nd Birthday Party!

I will put up more photos when I get them from our photographer (AKA Garrett's awesome cousin Lisa) but till then, here are a few from the day. We had Genevieve's 2nd birthday at the Chino Youth Museum, and it turned out great! All of the details of the party were perfect and everyone had a good time. We ended up having 65, yes 65, people there, oh wow! Lucky for us, 21 of those were kids so they were out playing and cycling through to get food and say hello to DJ Lance and Plex who joined us from Gabba land. When we got home I asked Genevieve, how did you like your party Genevieve? Her only reply, Plex scary. Character fail on Mommy's part I guess! It was a great day, thank you to everyone for coming!
