Cal Poly Pumpkin Patch

Was it warm today! Today we took you to your 2nd annual Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Festival. It was so crowded! Brian, Laura and baby Lindsay met us there and enjoyed the pumpkins, animals and good company. I was chasing after you and realized how much you have grown from last year! Last year you couldn't even sit up on your own, now you are running, climbing and picking up pumpkins. A hot but fun afternoon!

Upland Fire Open House

The new Upland Firehouse on Campus and 19th had an open house today. You had a great time walking around and being in the center of all the action. It was hard to get you to stay still for a photo but I got a couple good ones. This morning before we went up I completed Matt's Run, a 5K at Cal Poly Pomona. I had a time of 34 minutes and 37 seconds, not to bad! I averaged a 11:09 mile. I probably could have done better but I haven't been able to get out and exercise at lunch since the school year started.  It was fun and I look forward to doing it again next year!

We stopped off at the pumpkin patch by the Montclair Plaza to give you a chance to stretch your legs and burn off some energy. For a pumpkin patch there wasn't that many pumpkins there! There was more rides, animals and bouncers then pumpkins. You enjoyed running, yes running, around. You made me so nervous you were going to fall and crack open your face, but you kept your balance.

Just a few days ago was your Godfather's birthday. We let him choose any where he wanted to eat, we ended up The Habit in La Verne. You were entertained everyone while we waited for the food walking around the place and smiling at everyone. You didn't like the high chair much but you ate a little bit.

Laundry Time!

Genevieve you were having the best time tonight playing in all the clean laundry. You first "sorted" it for us then tried to put on your favorites. After much struggle, you finnally let me help you put on my shirt. After you were bored with that you climbed into the laundry basket, piling the clothes on top of you in a big mound. You only tipped over once!

Tapatio Bottle

It must be the size and shape of the bottle, but you love getting into the refrigerator and getting the Tapatio bottle out and carrying it around the house. You love to put it in your cup holder of your blue chair Great Grandpa Fortune bought for you. I am not sure why we even own this, a leftover from a party I am sure. You are getting more use out of it then we ever did!

Yo Gabba Gabba

Good thing you can't speak in full sentences, otherwise you may be asking to watch Yo Gabba Gabba all the time! Something about this show captivates you and you totally zone out everything else, just you and DJ Lance Rock and the gang. We don't let you watch it every day, but thank goodness for On Demand and Netflix, when we have something we need to do, this is a great way to keep you busy!
