Salton Sea and Salvation Mountain

It was a journey but we did it! We started off way at the bottom of the Salton Sea at Salvation Mountain. We were the only ones there when we arrived and was already getting warm. It was something to see once every 10 years or so for sure. Next we stopped by East Jesus and Mudpots. We stopped by several points of the Salton Sea on the way back to Morongo. What a strange and smelly place! 

Morongo and Bowling

We headed out to Morongo for a couple of days for some desert vacationing. We took you bowling after a very good buffet dinner. You were really into it for about 5 minutes then sat under the table and didn't want to come out. So Daddy and I took turns bowling for you. Maybe next year we will try again with the bowling.

Busy Saturday!

We met up with friends to paint at Color Me Mine. Julia, Baby Alex, Sarah, Aubrey and Eric met us to paint ceramics. Three of the four of you ended up with bird houses! After we were done we played in the fountain at Victoria Gardens. You got soaked! You had to come home in your undies because I didn't have a change of clothes for you. Before long, it was time to get ready for Daddy;s friends wedding. You were the life of the party! You danced all night long and kept the party going.

Friends!!

Your best buddy is Nicolas. You use to play with him everyday at Nancy's but since his Mommy has been on maternity leave you have missed him! We got together at My Giggle Place in Anaheim for a play get together and you were so happy to see each other. You had fun playing in all the different rooms and eating pizza afterwards. Later that night we made "gingermans" and decorated them, you were very concerned that they were going to run away.

Happy 4th of July 2013!

Since you love fireworks so much we decided to suck it up this year and go check out the fireworks at the Upland High School stadium. There was a lot of fun and free games to play, a photobooth and perfect weather to be found. Once the fireworks started I wished I could have captured the look on your face. Mouth open, yelling WOW! and clapping your hands in approval after big bursts. It was so much joy to see you so happy. Looks like we will be headed back there next year as well!

Grandma took you to get your photos done at Picture People today. You wore a cute polka dot dress Grandma made you and smiled real big for the camera. I love photos of you Genevieve!

Computer Nerd

You are really getting the hang of using the mouse on the computer Genevieve! I use to have to click for you, now you have the muscle control to click on the you tube video you want and press play. Just a matter of time before you start editing and uploading I am sure!
