Pinkalicious

From Grandma: 

Tuesday: After reading Pinkalicious we made pink cupcakes to see if we would turn pink like the girl in the book. We also played the new game of Care Bears. Genevieve is Grumpy Bear. She stays in bed and doesn't want to get up. I am Sunshine Bear. I tell her to come out and play in the sun and have fun. Grumpy doesn't want to come, but eventually comes out and has fun.

Talking to Grandma

You really know how to hold a conversation now Genevieve. Tonight Grandma called and you talked to her for a solid 5 minutes, telling her about your day, what you had for dinner, your toys, etc. Sometimes you get in the mood to call people so I have to call everyone until we find someone who is home.

Brush your teeth!

We opened up your last light up toothbrush I got you for Christmas. You love to put a dab of mommy's toothpaste, then daddy's toothpaste, have me wet it and then turn the light on. You can never have just one or the other kind of toothpaste, it has to always have both.

California Science Center

We drove out to Union Station and walked up to Philipes for a french dip sandwich for lunch- yummy! Next we got on the Expo line and sent down to USC to visit the California Science Center. You had a fun time playing in the exhibits, your favorite was to build the house. We got french fries for a snack and looked at the rose garden on our way out and back to the train. You love riding trains!

Ice Maker Miracle

A miracle occurred on 7th street, our ice maker started working again. After 3 years, it just started making ice. Not sure why or how, but do I love ice! I have missed you ice, luxury so far out of reach for so long and now back. Snow cones tonight!

Big beautiful eyes

We had just given you a bath, but your face is already a mess again. I love this picture because it captures that smile, your eyes and that curly hair of yours!!

Knotts with Grandma

Wednesday

We went to Knott's Berry Farm because Grandma was bored with staying home. We had fun on the rides and seeing the Lucy Show. You won a little pink bear that needed to go on all the rides again with you. You even checked the bears height to see if she was the right size to go the ride. She was fine. You asked to go on the ride with "the little cars." I figured out you meant the Sky Cabin that goes up and over the park and makes things on the ground look small. Even though you were very tired you didn't want to leave and wanted "one more ride." The park was closing so we had to leave.
