New Toy

I don't often buy you toys, but this is one I have been wanting to get you for a while. It is a kid friendly digital camera. Durable, strong and most importantly not mine! You went to town taking pictures of rocks, leaves, me, Daddy and everything in between. It holds 1000 photos or so, I might have to upload them sooner then I think.

Earth Day at the Frontier Project

After a opps last year on my part and showing up on the wrong day (yikes!) we managed to make it on the right day this year to the Earth Day celebration at the Frontier Project in Rancho Cucamonga. There was lots of fun games, prizes and booths to look at. What you really enjoyed though was playing in the stream of water that was running off from one of the booths. You splashed and splashed up and down again and again for probably 45 minutes. You were soaked, but you enjoyed yourself. We also got to see Joel Green from Inland Empire Explorer. It was a fun day!

Lady Gagaesque

You sure looked like you could be in Lady Gaga's groupies today. Purple sunglasses, pink cowboy boots, green dress, what wasn't to love? We even made it all the way through at the thrift store before you had to pee.

Fun at home

You have been obsessed with Charlie Brown lately. I think it has something to do with Camp Snoopy and Knotts. Well, thank goodness for Netflix and Charlie Brown on demand. You love watching old episodes of Charlie Brown and laugh when Lucy calls Charlie Brown Chuck, you say "Ha hA! He's name's not Chuck, he is Charlie Brown". After the show was over you enjoyed lining up all the paper towels and toilet paper on the floor.

Knott's Berry Farm with Grandma

Grandma is getting good use out of her season pass to Knotts. Today she took you and were tall enough to ride on some new rides! Maybe you have been cranky because you have been growing?!!? Two stories from Grandma:

We were up on the Sky Cabin at Knott's Berry Farm. When we were at the very top and looking over the whole park I said to Genevieve that the cars looked so small from here. She looked at herself and said in a surprised voice and her eyes wide, I'm getting bigger! Unfortunately we had to come down and she became her regular size again. She was very disappointed.

We are at Knott's Berry Farm. I ask my granddaugher what she wants for lunch. She says a hamburger. We get it. She points to the pickles. I no like that. She points to the lettuce and tomato. I no like that. She points to the cheese on the burger. I no like that. Finally she points to the meat and says. I no like that. We ended up with a bun for her.

All spiffy

The dance studio you are going to has very strict rules about what you can wear to dance in. Grandma had to get you some new items but you look smashing in your costume. I think you are tapping in the top picture but I am not sure...

Daddy's Shoes

Mommy had today off because of Cesar Chavez day and like every Cesar Chavez day we ended up not doing much at all. You were very opinionated about how and where we were going to do things today and in the end it just wasn't worth it to get you moving. I did try to go to the cobbler to pick up my shoes from being repaired and drop off Daddy's, but he was closed on Mondays :(. Maybe next year we will do something fabulous on my day off!
