Helping Mommy

Your new favorite thing to do is to help Mommy in the kitchen. You found the step stool and is the perfect height for you to get up to the counter to help me cook. You like to stir (I try myself!) and help put the ingredients in. It is fun to see you be such a big girl, I just need to budget extra time to get the cooking done now.

Debate Night

It was debate night, not Obama/Romney debate, Stewart/O'Reilly debate. We had a few friends come over and we had a yummy dinner of pulled pork and political themed food. You had lots of fun with Baby Alex and Baby Audrey. You all played very nice together and shared toys. You were especially happy to see Baby Alex because you see her at Ms. Nancy's house during the week but never at our house. What a fun night, and the house got clean.

What a big girl!

You are looking so big in your car seat these days Genevieve. Hard to believe we still have years and years left of you in a car seat and booster seat. Soon you be able to buckle yourself in and out, instead of yelling, "Mama, stuck, I stuck" at me when we stop the car.

Sleepy Sleepy Sleepy

You fell asleep at 4:30 today and we can not seem to get you awake! You keep falling back asleep wherever we move you to. Going on 4 hours now, either you will sleep through the night or we are going to be in for a long long late night with you when you do wake up.

Pancakes?

In order to get you interested in something to eat tonight I started off naming random things. Wouldn't you know when I said pancakes you said yes, got excited and did a little pancake dance. I made you pancakes for dinner and you did pretty well eating it. I guess our steak and potatoes didn't look as good as pancakes to you.

Not feeling well

You don't feel 100% Genevieve. Grandma had to pick you up from Nancy's and you had a fever most of the day. Other then the fever you are n good spirits, but you are tired and like to sleep. Tonight you even put yourself to bed in your room. Poor little thing, hope you feel better soon.

The "bath"

You recently reimagined the inside of our storage ottoman as a "bath". You like to get in, have mommy wash and dry you. You also like to give your dolls bathes in your new bath as well. What little imaginations can think of!
