Bubbles, I try myself

You still love blowing bubbles and can spot them from across the room. You want to "try yourself" so you don't get to many bubbles blowing but you do have a good time trying.

Tea Party, eat mama eat

Your inner Italian is coming out Genevieve. When I tea party with you it is not an option to not eat. Mommy will eat that plastic apple and sip tea or you will let me know about it. You use to call tea party Lunch Time, but now you just call it tea party then announce "time to eat" when you have plated up the food.

Pizza and Ice Cream

What is better then pizza and ice cream? Not much, especially when you get to have it with 'Rina and James. We went to San Biago's Pizza and had ice cream from Handels. You loved playing with kids and of course you love pizza and ice cream. You ended up a chocolate mess but you had such a good time you weren't even bothered by it.

Disneyland (for mommy)

Today at work we all got to go to Disneyland for a staff development seminar and got to explore the park (including the new cars land) for the afternoon. We made a day of it and stayed through World of Color, so pretty. It was late when I got home and as soon as I walked in the door I put you to bed. We will try taking you back to Disneyland again soon Genevieve.

Genevieve's Garden

The area behind the garage has been under transformation for quite a while but it finally got finshed. We redid the area and now you have grass, your house and an outdoor kitchen all to yourself. Still a few minor improvements needed but you were very happy with it and enjoyed playing this afternoon.

Santa Monica, Day 2

After a wonderful night that included sleeping all the way through, it was time to get up and get going for the day. We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and spent some time at the pool. We had to check out by noon, we grabbed our beach gear out of the car and headed out to the sand for a few more hours before packing it all up and heading home. I was anxious to see you and you were mildly happy to see us. You were having to much fun to care one way or another about us coming back to pick you up. You slept good for Nana and Papa, only waking up once at 5am and going right back to sleep.

When we came back to the house we went swimming across the street. I love the "desk" setup you have done with your kitchen. It is very studio apartment style. You have your seat, phone, paper and pens, everything you need to get that paperwork finished!

Overnight at Nana and Papas

Tonight was the first night you spent away from both mommy and daddy. We packed your bag and dropped you off at Nana and Papas. You were so excited to see them. You had a full day of activities planned with them, they took you to the fair, and lots of play time. We took off to Santa Monica for a night at Shutters on the Beach.

Before we got there we stopped in Venice, I can't believe I have been here my whole life and never have been there! We did a two hour bike tour, that was a lot of fun. A little bit of window shopping and it was time to head to Santa Monica. We parked the car and I got a late lunch from the original Hot Dog on a Stick location, yummy! Soon, Daddy took off to find a place to watch the USC game and I headed to the pool and then took a wonderful bath in the huge soaking tub in the room. When daddy came back we walked down to the pier and looked around. The last photo is the view from out hotel room, it was awesome!
