Wendy's Garden Tour

After over a year of planting, weeding, landscaping and prepping it was finally Garden Tour Day for Wendy! Her house looked amazing and from the people I saw going through her gardens that all thought it looked amazing to. You still were not doing so well with your teeth coming in so you were a little cranky and clinging but overall still a good baby. We even got to ride on a train at Wendy's neighbors house. Her yard is so pretty, maybe next time I need some good shots of you we will go over there and use it as a backdrop.

Later in the evening we went out to dinner with Lori and Gwyn to Vinces in Rancho Cucamonga. I love that place! You were pretty good in your high chair until you grabbed Lori's (almost empty but with ice) cup and knocked it over. What is dinner without some excitement!

Getting Better!

You are getting so good at walking with your new dinosaur friend. You can make it from the ottoman all the way over to the TV without falling. So far no major wipeouts, so thank goodness! You love all the sounds and music the dinosaur makes and the best part is that we are not sick of them yet!

Uh oh, more teeth!

Genevieve your four upper teeth are starting to come in and they are really starting to bother you. It must be awful to cut four teeth at once! Here you had finally fallen asleep after a long battle of fighting it. I know this isn't going to be a good next couple of days/nights!

Turkey and Mangos

You stopped wanting us to feed you and know you only want to feed yourself! We gave you some turkey and mango cut up into little squares and you had a great time feeding yourself your dinner. Lots of pieces ended up on the floor to but it was easy to see how satisfied you were as you managed to get some of it in your mouth.

Bang Bang Bang on the Piano

You are just in love with that musical piano toy Aunt Christi got you fro Christmas. When we need to keep you occupied to take a shower or complete a task it is easy to throw you in the crib with it and you will be entertained for at least a half hour. You wore yourself out and fell asleep so quick. We ended up picking up either side of the blanket and putting you in the crib almost like a burrito, it worked out perfect!

Blocks

Genevieve you love to chew on your little blocks and even bang them together. It is so much fun to watch you grab the blocks, one in each hand, bang them together and say "yea yea yea yeah!" There is no stopping you when you want to get to where you are going and the dinning room chairs are no exception. You even took your block with you!

Your 1st Easter

Your 1st Easter!The Easter Bunny was very good to you this year Genevieve. They brought you gifts from all corners of the Inland Empire (as you can tell by the photo of your Easter "loot"). But before we could get to Easter we first had to sop by and see Julia, Ryan and their new little baby! They were close by at San Antino and little Alexandria was so cute. They even had glued (yes I said glued) a bow to her head.

Afterward we had a nice get together at Grandma Terri's house in the afternoon. The Easter Bunny even hid eggs for you to find around the living room. You loved your green dino to push around and help you walk. Your still getting the hang of it, I am just glad it plays some new songs.... We then stopped by Grandma Dianes and went for round two on Easter. What a fun day, I bet next year will be exciting as you will be able to hunt for eggs!

Photos and a Night Out

Today me and you did some fun photos at a studio in Rancho Cucamonga. No photos to share yet, but they are coming soon! Since I had my hair and makeup done we decided to go out and do something fun. Great Grandma and Nita watched you and we joined Adam and Judy at Piano Piano in Claremont. We had a great time listening to the pianos and enjoying dinner.

Almost Easter

Tonight we took you to see the Easter Bunny at Bass Pro shop in Rancho Cucamonga. The line was long and we waited an hour but it was worth it! You did so good in line and you loved looking at all the other kids waiting to see the Easter Bunny. It was a fast operation they had there! When we were up we were in and out in about 30 seconds with the Easter Bunny. You had a great smile on your face and you weren't afraid at all of them!

Baby Time

We got to see Eric and Sarah again tonight. We met them for dinner at BJs on Ontario and the food was so good! Afterwards we went and did a little shopping before heading home, what a fun way to spend an evening.

Evening with Julia

Julias baby is due right around the corner (tomorrow!) so we stopped by to see her one last time before baby Alexandria joins us. We went over to her house tonight and had a wonderful dinner and got to see the babies room all fixed up! We wished Julia a happy and joyous birthing day and we can't wait to see baby Alex.

"Little baby!"

Genevieve you are lucky to have such a wonderful god father! Dave came by tonight and kept you very entertained and occupied. He kept a close eye on you as you started crawling off towards the kitchen and kept you safe in the living room. We have lots of good times ahead, maybe Souplanation next week?

Flip Video Camera

Great Grandma Theresa bought Grandma Terri this flip video camera a while back. It is so great to use it to take little videos of you doing your cute baby things on! It records about an hour of video at a time and fits perfect in my pocket! We have been able to capture you in all different stages of your turning over, crawling, standing and one day soon walking! I haven't had much time to edit the little videos but hope to get something together soon!

You're going to Hollywood!

What a fun day today! You took your first train ride to Los Angeles with us today. Our friends Laura and Brian joined in on the fun as well! We made a lunch stop at Philipes for french dip sandwiches (excellent as always!). A walk through Olivera street got us back to Union Station where we hopped on the Red Line out to Hollywood and Highland. Laura and Brian had never been to see the Walk of Fame, Kodak, Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Roosvelt, etc. We enjoyed walking around the busy part of town before ordering ice cream at the Disney soda fountain and ice cream shop. The weather was warm and ice cream was the perfect way to end our day before transferring back onto the train.

Casino Morongo Day 2

This morning you slept in (yea!) till 9:30 and we had just enough time to go down to the pool before checkout. I started you off in the kiddy pool, hoping you were going to like it and you did! We splashed around for a while and played in the fountain. We headed towards the lazy river and got to go around several times. How much fun! I could of done that all day but I had forgotten the sunscreen so we couldn't spend to much time outside... After some deliberation I decided to go down the waterslide with you. Still not sure if it was a good idea but we did it! We both ended up briefly underwater but you took in stride. A few more minutes in the kiddy pool and back up to the room to check out. We stopped by the dinosaurs since we were in the neighborhood before heading back home. I know they are kind of cheesy but I love going to visit them!
