In the morning you are little Ms. Independent now! You like to walk yourself up to Ms. Nancy's house in the morning. Some days you are on a slower pace then others but we always make it up there, you know the way and which house is hers. Sometimes you want to stop by Zach, Abby and Emma's house but are always agreeable when I encourage you to keep going. You love holding my keys and have a small fit when I take them away. Sorry, Genevieve, Mommy needs to go to! It is so fun to see you shuffle your feet in the leaves, exploring how they sound, how they feel when they crunch under your shoes and their looking at their bright colors. You often find small rocks to examine and take on the walk with you as well, feeling their edges in your hands and asking me to hold it when you get tired of carrying it.
When we walk around outside on Mondays when we are waiting for the Fun with your Ones class, we walk on the leaves and I say "Crunch, Crunch, Crunch" as we go along. Kicking the leaves is fun too. Sometimes we get all the way up to Miss Nancy's house and I have to convince you we can't go in.
